Yep, you read that right. The theme for Charlie's birthday party was a "Hukilau Slumber Party."
We combined a luau themed party with a slumber party. Not bad if I say so myself.
We got in our luau gear and went to the Rainforest Cafe for dinner. Yes, I know... the rainforest is not in Hawaii but this was the closest we could get and Charlie REALLY wanted to go there!
A perfect dinner. Balloon hats and animals, a volcano cake, and plenty of loud animals (uh, I mean kids) to last a lifetime!
On to the slumber part of the party...
Good morning ladies! Time for breakfast. Charlie's other request... IHOP!
Candles in her pancakes and a wonderful rendition of Happy Birthday in whisper voices as to not interrupt the other patrons.
Who would have thought, even IHOP sings happy birthday!
We ended the party by opening presents. She loved all of her loot! what a great group of friends Charlie has!
