Last week, the girls' school had an award ceremony. If your child is getting an award, the parents get a "secret" letter home that tells the parents to show up at the award ceremony. The kids aren't supposed to know that they are getting an award that day. Well, by second grade... the kids are pretty smart. If they see their parents in the crowd, they pretty much know that they are getting an award. Guess who spotted mom in the audience...
