They are growing up way too fast.
Kindergarten & Second Grade.
Wow. I can't believe it.
A little play-by-play of the first day of school events:
Ready to go.
The Outfits.
The walk into school.
Each one got to design their own at this great little children's boutique by our house.
They were so proud of their creations.
Charlie has been patiently waiting for 2 years to get to put her backpack on the hook where Ryan got to when she was in kinder. Charlie felt so grown up.
The annual family pick. Daddy has never missed the first day of school!
Look how tall Charlie is!!
The famous "Mrs. Baker" as she welcomes her new kindergarteners into her classroom for the first time. Charlie was so excited. No tears. No hanging on. Pure joy.
Charlie's first assessment. Each student has to write their name on the poster paper and they will compare from first day of kinder to last day. Charlie got to go first!
Obviously, we had to divide and conquer. Daddy was in charge of taking Ryan
to her second grade class and didn't have a camera with him. After Charlie's drop off, I stuck my head in Ryan's class to see how she was doing. She has so many great friends in her class as well. It's going to be a great year!
