A day of first for little Chuckie... plane rides and cowboy boots!
Bright and early (at airport at 6:15 a.m.), we arrived at the Long Beach airport for our whirlwind 24-hour trip up north! Charlie and Ryan (but especially Charlie) were thrilled for our adventure. This was Charlie's first plane ride experience and she was over the moon!

Aunt Marzie was already at the airport when we arrived and had some goodies for the girls for the trip. Thanks Marzie!
I got a pic of the girls as we headed up to the plane. Take note of Charlie's shoes... the other first for the day! Charlie has been waiting and waiting for the right moment to wear her red cowboy boots. She decided that this was the right moment to showcase her new "look."
Mommy got to sit with Buggy for her big take off moment.
Ryan was lucky and got to sit with TWO grown ups! Daddy and Aunt Marzie.
Charlie said that she had butterflies but you certainly can't tell by the looks of this laid-back teenager-looking-chick! Ah man, they are growing up way too fast!

Ryan was IN LOVE with her new plane ride outfit too! Isn't it cute? I would totally wear it if it were in my size!
Nothing like a little tram ride to end the plane ride and cowboy boot excitement!
