We spent the day at Disneyland (actually... most of the day was at California Adventure because Disneyland was packed!) with Aunt Nancy and Cousin Katie. The hardest part is that now Charlie is getting old enough to know what is going on. She was very sad when I told her it was just a "Mommy and Ryan" day. But she quickly cheered up when I told her that next time at Disneyland we will have just a "Mommy and Charlie" day. I told her that we could go with Carson and Michelle and she hasn't stopped talking about it since.
Anyway, Autopia was the only ride we went on at Disneyland before we realized that we chose to go on one of the few days that Disneyland is sold out. Good move mom!!
We headed over to California Adventure and had a little bit better luck. The girls loved this Merry Go Round because it was Little Mermaid themed!
And I don't have to tell you how truly excited Ryan was to meet Cinderella. This was the highlight of the day.

Oh my goodness, so glad to have blog updates. Must mean everyone is feeling better:) So much to comment on ... First, maybe Aunt Casey could come play with Charlie/and or Ryan when the other is at Disneyland!? Second, I'm not sure if Ryan is more mesmerized with driving the car or Cinderella. Either way, she loves the (expensive) girly stuff and the (expensive)cars, i.e., poor Daddy! And Ryan is so lucky to have her special cousin Katie to go on these fun mommy-daughter outings!
oh. my. i don't know if i have ever seen a more dreamy look in ryan's eyes than in the picture with cinderella. soooo cute. and it looks like you are going to have one very excited 16 year old when the time comes to get her license. ahhhh so cute!
maybe i should stop driving the bug now get a new car and save mine for ryan...good idea steven??fun day. hugs
