So, lil Miss Charlie is on her road to becoming a rock star! She asked Santa for a guitar just like Taylor Swift's for Christmas and Santa came through for her. And with a guitar... lessons were her next request. This week she had her first lesson with her guitar teacher, John. He spent over an hour with her teaching her hand placement and how to play some chords. She was soooo cute. About half way through the lesson, she came upstairs and whispered to me that she wasn't having any fun. Ha... tough chica! Get back in there. Turns out, her fingers were hurting her so bad. I didn't realize how hard it is on your fingertips to play guitar. I tried and it was hard for me. I can only imagine how it must feel on her tiny little fingers. Well, I'm glad her "distaste" in the guitar was shortlived because she already can't wait for John to come back next week.
